Milia/ Mole/ Skin Tag Removal
We use a plasma pen hand held device that will effectively and quickly remove lesions from the body and face. Please get in touch for a full consultation prior to treatment as the price and procedure may vary depending on the area being treated.
You will experience some redness to the area for up to two weeks, and also small scabs were the lesion has been removed. You must keep this dry whilst healing. You must have not been in strong sunlight (to tan the skin) for weeks before and also after treatment so please plan this around any holiday arrangements.
Microneedling is a treatment that can be used on various skin conditions. But this aside it is also an amazing treatment to keep the skin looking youthful and feeling tighter.
A small handheld device will deliver 12-24 tiny needles into the skins dermis at each touch , this will stimulate the healing process and therefore new cells and collagen will form and the skin will heal smoother, firmer and more radiant each time.
This is a must have treatment for anyone who has acne scarring, I have seen a reduction of around 80% on scarring with this device. Using the correct method, depth and speed you can get amazing results. You can also work on open pores, texture, tone, fine lines and wrinkles and reduce the appearance of stretch marks on the body.
Numbing cream will be applied prior to treatment, so this will be relatively pain free. Most clients actually find this treatment relaxing.
Please be aware that you will need a course of 4-8 treatments (4 being light skin concerns and 8 being acne scarring) in the first instance, but most people see a visible difference after one. You will experience some redness after treatment that can last up to 24hrs but for most people this isn’t noticeable after around 8 hours.
LED Light Therapy
LED (light-emitting diode) therapy uses wavelengths of visible light to treat the skin. The light penetrates deep within the skin and treats a variety of issues, such as sun damage, acne, rosacea, eczema, psoriasis, and dermatitis.
The most common colours are red and blue although yellow and green are occasionally used. You can also set the light to emit more than one colour per treatment
Red light is anti-inflammatory, soothes irritation and rosacea, and stimulates collagen production. Blue light kills bacteria so is great for the treatment of acne.
The good news is:
This treatment involves a sterile small scalpel that is glides over the skin to remove surface debris, dirt, oil, dead skin cells and even “peach fuzz” (vellus hair). This will leave you skin feeling super smooth and your makeup will go on flawlessly.
This is gentle on the skin compared to microneedling and although it won’t have the same effect it still gives some great benefits. It’s perfect for sensitive skin!
